食古而不化

 

DSC03517 睇完煮野蘇介紹的那瓶陳年鹹柑桔,對那種黑漆漆的球狀物很有興趣,心想,真的那麼神奇嗎?奄製到黑色?有那麼有效嗎?她描述的那瓶已奄製了超過五十年,那種味道已經不是柑桔味,是一種酒香味。由於媽媽是圍村人,對此也略懂一二,於是隨口的問問,誰不知我家也有些收藏,也有二三十年歷史﹗共有二瓶,正想打開其中一瓶時,才發現那個塑膠造的瓶蓋已經老化不堪,不雖旋扭,整個蓋已可以摘下﹗媽媽大驚,一時手足無措,最後唯有用保鮮紙包好瓶口,之後再找個新的瓶子。真的如阿蘇形容,再沒有那種柑味,有少少酒味,有點像陳皮味,沒有拿一粒來試試,因為是外婆親手奄製,數量有限。

DSC03520 DSC03519 家中還有一瓶寫上"86年 果皮之寶"的果皮,如此描述,令人發笑,但又令人驚嘆古人之智慧,想得如此方法去令食品"增值"﹗
